Preheat oven to 450°F ~{10%minutes}. Wash and dry all produce.

Place @flatbreads{4%unit} dimpled sides down on a #baking sheet{}. Rub tops with a drizzle of @olive oil{1%tsp}; season with @salt{1%pinch} and @black pepper{1%pinch}. Bake until lightly toasted ~{5%minutes}. [- - TIP: Line the baking sheet with foil first for easy cleanup! -]

Meanwhile, heat @cooking oil{1%tsp} in a #large pan{} over medium-high heat. Add @italian chicken sausage mix{8%oz} and @onion{1%unit}(peeled & thinly sliced). Cook, breaking up meat into pieces, until sausage is browned and cooked through and onion is softened ~{4%minutes}.

Once flatbreads are toasted, remove sheet from oven. Carefully flip flatbreads dimpled sides up; evenly spread with @marinara sauce{2%tbsp} and sprinkle with @mozzarella cheese{2%oz}. Top with sausage and onion mixture. Bake until cheese is melted ~{3%minutes}.

Once flatbreads are done, drizzle with as much @pesto{2%tbsp} and @balsamic glaze{1%tbsp} as you like.

Slice flatbreads as desired. Divide between plates and serve.
